Get ready to jam and enjoy the Sounds of Summer at Blakeney! The Tim Cook Band will perform Saturday, June 24th, from 7-9 PM.
The Tim Cook Band started in 2010 as a 5 piece part-time variety band performing at festivals, fairs, and clubs in the Charlotte, NC, area. It has since evolved into one of the region’s finest acoustic variety groups boasting a broad song catalog that ranges from Merle Haggard to Jimi Hendrix to John Mellencamp to John Mayer, to name a few. You will love the song stylings of the Tim Cook Band and are sure to have a fun night!
Blakeney’s Sounds of Summer event features live music every Saturday on the Blakeney Plaza through July 8th. The event is free and open to the public, so come early to shop, dine, and unwind before settling in for an evening of live entertainment.
Lawn chairs, blankets, and well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds. For younger attendees, the Blakeney playground will be open and ready for action all summer long.
